Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Budget Buddy app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by PURE SCAN LTD (collectively, the “Application”). PURE SCAN LTD is referred to in this policy as the “Service Provider”.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted to enable network connectivity, but this information is not retained or used for tracking.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?
No. The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Because the Application does not collect information during ordinary use, no personal data is shared with third parties.
What are my opt-out rights?
Since the Application does not collect personal information through ordinary use, uninstalling the Application removes it from your device. If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, you may request deletion of that information by contacting rhys2pennington@gmail.com.
Data Retention
The Application does not retain personal information generated through normal use. If you voluntarily provide personal information directly to the Service Provider, for example through email correspondence, that information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, satisfy legitimate administrative purposes, or comply with applicable legal obligations. When the information is no longer required, it will be deleted or anonymised where reasonably practicable.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of information that you have voluntarily provided to the Service Provider. To make such a request, contact rhys2pennington@gmail.com and describe the information you want deleted. The Service Provider will take reasonable steps to honour the request, subject to any data that must be retained in order to comply with applicable law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher age threshold required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s data is not placed at risk by ordinary use of the Application. If information is voluntarily provided through other means by a person below the applicable age threshold, parental or guardian consent must be provided where required by law.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data during normal use, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. Even so, the Service Provider applies reasonable safeguards to protect systems and any information it may receive directly.
Data Breach Notification
If a breach occurs involving information you have voluntarily provided directly to the Service Provider, the Service Provider will provide notification where required by applicable law.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected on this page together with an updated effective date. Previous versions may be made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at rhys2pennington@gmail.com.
Your Consent
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
